Lots of Summer Music Concerts on the Bill in Litchfield

Litchfield music summer of 2025The free Wednesday evening summer concerts on the Green are in full swing, and they’re just one of many options in Litchfield this summer for music lovers.

Free Concerts on the Green

The Survivors Swing Band performs music from the Swing Era this Wednesday, July 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. on the Green as part of the Park & Recreation summer concert series. The Hartford Courant says the six-piece jazz band gets audiences dancing.

Upcoming concerts on the Green include Center Line on July 16, Wires and Wood on July 23, the Connecticut National Guard Army 102nd Band, on July 30, Mikey, Matt & Co. on Aug. 6, and Wooden Horse on Aug. 13.

Free Concert at American Legion Post 27

American Legion Post 27 is hosting a free performance by Jeff Conlon this Friday, July 11, from 7 to 10 p.m., and it’s open to the public. “Hang out in the AC, grab a cold one & enjoy,” the Legion post says on Facebook. NOTE: This show is canceled but there will be live music on July 19th.

Belle of the Fall Indie Duo at Litchfield Music Center

The indie folk duo Belle of the Fall performs this Friday, July 11, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Litchfield Music Center. Belle of the Fall consists of Tracy Walton of On Deck Sound Studio in Northfield and Julia Autumn Ford. They are known for their harmonies and blend of neo-folk, indie folk, and Americana music, and released their debut album, “Earthbound,” in April 2016. Tickets are $28.52 and available online here.

Free Concerts at Litchfield Community Center

The next free concert in the Summer Sunset series at Litchfield Community Center is the Caribbean Vibe Steel Drum Band on July 25, with the La Guera food truck on site, the Al Fenton Big Band on Aug. 22 , with Bill’s Mobile Pizza, and Potter’s Field on Sept. 12, with the Meraki food truck. All concerts are 6 to 8 p.m. and BYOB, as well as bring your own lawn chairs and blankets.

Wanda Houston Performing at Lourdes in Litchfield

Litchfield music, summer of 2025Lourdes in Litchfield is hosting a summer concert featuring Wanda Houston and her band on Aug. 2. She will offer a mix of jazz, R&B, and traditional favorites, providing what Lourdes calls music to raise your spirits and soothe your soul. $40 tickets available at shrinect.org/live.
