Introducing The Homestead Collective in Litchfield Center

The Homestead Collective, a new shop, opens in Litchfield CTThere is a certain magic in items that embody a story – the kind of quality you can only find in goods made by hand with techniques passed down through generations. Litchfield welcomes a new destination dedicated to exactly that – The Homestead Collective, located in the former Hope & Honey space under At the Corner restaurant on South Street.

The shop makes its debut with a soft opening April 2-4, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, and will be open 11-4 Thursday through Sunday throughout April, as the shop continues to come together with new arrivals and displays.

Then there will be a Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting on May 8 at 5 p.m., with champagne and shopping.

Created and curated by Christina Zordan, who had worked in insurance regionally, The Homestead Collective offers a thoughtful collection of specialty pantry goods, kitchen essentials, and home & garden items, sourced from small makers and designed for gathering, gifting, and everyday living.

From Lancaster to Litchfield

The Homestead Collective is being launched by Christina Zordan in Litchfield CTThe inspiration for the shop is deeply personal. Much of the collection is sourced directly from Lancaster County, Pa., and the town of Intercourse – a community renowned for its dedication to craftsmanship and handmade traditions where Christina’s family has spent a lot of time.

By partnering with family-run shops and U.S.-based makers in Amish country and beyond, Christina has brought a piece of that authentic, rooted heritage to Connecticut.
