This year’s menus and photos are coming soon!
Now in its fourth year, Litchfield Restaurant Week has quickly become one of the region’s most anticipated culinary events.
Thanks to overwhelming popularity, more restaurants than ever are joining the celebration, with 28 participating establishments showcasing the vibrant and growing dining scene in Litchfield.
This year’s lineup includes standout newcomers and returning favorites alike, from an elevated Italian restaurant whose chef is a 2026 James Beard Foundation Best Chef: Northeast semifinalist, to a newly opened restaurant inside a refined hotel that earned a MICHELIN Key for outstanding hospitality, to an in-demand fine-dining haven featuring one of Connecticut’s top pastry chefs.
In addition to premier dining options, one of the best aspects of Litchfield Restaurant Week is the range of experiences and levels of access — from cozy coffee shops and beloved bakeries to casual neighborhood favorites and fine-dining destinations. Each will offer a special 3-course prix fixe menu at one of three price points — $25, $35, or $50 — giving diners a chance to experience Litchfield fare at exceptional value.
Stay tuned via the official Litchfield Restaurant Week page which, by mid-March, will be populated with the complete list of participating restaurants, special menus, and more.
Several exciting newcomers are joining the event this year, including the Belden House & Mews, a design-forward boutique hotel that earned a prestigious MICHELIN Key within just five months of opening. Chef Tyler Heckman leads the property’s “destination dining” program, featuring a New American menu centered on New England coastal seafood and partnerships with local farms.
Also joining Restaurant Week for the first time is Arethusa al tavolo, widely recognized for its farm-to-table excellence. The restaurant has been named one of Open Table’s Top 100 Restaurants in America five times — and is led by Executive Chef Dan Magill, a 2016 Semifinalist for Best Chef: Northeast, and Stacy D’Angelo, a 2025 finalist for Pastry Chef of the Year in the Connecticut Restaurant Association’s CRAzies Awards.
Returning favorites span the lineup, including Materia Ristorante — Litchfield County’s 2024 Restaurant of the Year. Chef David DiStasi — a 2026 James Beard Best Chef: Northeast semifinalist — was named Connecticut Restaurant Association’s Chef of the Year in 2023.
Adding to the festivities, Litchfield Distillery — a Silver Sponsor of Restaurant Week — is donating its award-winning spirits for special Litchfield Restaurant Week cocktails crafted by participating restaurants.
This year’s Gold Sponsor for Litchfield Restaurant Week is the Lost Fox Inn, a refined boutique hotel and restaurant located in a meticulously restored 1745 tavern. The restaurant offers a sophisticated take on New England-style cuisine with a focus on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
